Alexandra & Jonathan’s 10-Year Anniversary

There are some sessions that just feel extra special, and Alexandra and Jonathan’s couples session in Hannibal Square was absolutely one of them. Visiting Orlando all the way from Trinidad, these two were celebrating their 10-year anniversary, and Alexandra had planned the sweetest surprise for her husband: a couples session right in the heart of Winter Park! Originally their session was scheduled for Thursday, but Florida weather had other plans. Between the constant rain and unpredictable skies, we made the call to reschedule for Saturday, their very last day before heading home. Thankfully, everything worked out exactly as it should, because we were gifted the most perfect evening light and dreamy weather.

From the moment we started walking through Hannibal Square, their energy was contagious. Alexandra and Jonathan were so warm, playful, and completely wrapped up in each other. Sessions like this are exactly why I love being an Orlando couples photographer. Whether you're celebrating a milestone anniversary, planning a surprise engagement, or just wanting to capture your time together while visiting Central Florida, there’s something so meaningful about freezing these moments in time. Hannibal Square in Winter Park offers the perfect mix of charm, greenery, and soft evening light, making it one of my favorite spots for engagement and couples photography in the Orlando area.
